- 500 Gr pasta
- 200 Gr herb cheese
- 200 Gr Cherry tomatoes Halved
- 300 Gr Heinz Frito
- Salt, pepper and a pinch of cayenne pepper to taste
- 600-800 Gr Prawns
- 2 Cloves garlic Chopped
- 1 St onion Chopped
- 1 dash olive oil
- 1 tuft parsley for garnish
Werkwijze
Preparing prawns:
- Peel the prawns and set the peeled prawns aside, keep cool.
- Place the remaining peels in a saucepan, cover with water and reduce for 20 minutes. Mix briefly after 15 minutes and cook for another 5 minutes to extract the maximum flavor for your stock.
- Strain the mixture, reserve the liquid, and let it reduce. Divide the liquid into two parts: half a liter for the sauce and the rest for cooking the pasta.
Preparing Sauce:
- Sauté the minced garlic and onions in a wide, large pan with a little butter.
- After a few minutes, add a few small ladles of stock and reduce for 2 minutes.
- Add the Heinz Frito and herb cheese, stir well. Add extra stock as needed to achieve desired consistency.
- Add the prawns and season with salt, pepper and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add to the pan.
- Cooking Pasta:
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook the pasta in the remaining prawn liquid until al dente.
- Drain and add to the pan with the sauce.
Serve:
- Mix everything well and finish with fresh parsley.
- Divide between plates and enjoy!
