  • Cut up all the vegetables
  • Sauté the onion in some butter for a few minutes over medium heat.
  • Add the tomato paste and stir well
  • Add the carrots, tomatoes, bacon and bouillon cubes.
  • Moisten the vegetables with 1 liter of water
  • Let all this cook gently for a 1/2 hour.
  • When everything is cooked, the soup can be blended.
  • Pour the soup through a sieve
  • Usually there is plenty of salt in the soup thanks to the stock cubes (and the bacon) but you are free to add extra seasoning here.
