What is the difference between the Monsieur Cuisine and the Thermomix?

Price: Monsieur Cuisine is remarkably cheaper than the Thermomix.
Functionality: Both appliances have similar features, but the Thermomix often offers more advanced cooking programs and a more extensive community of recipes.
