- 500 g minced beef
- 1 tsp oregano
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- pepper (to taste)

- Form small golf ball-sized balls from the mixture.
- Cut the breakfast bacon into thin slices and wrap each ball in a slice of bacon.
- Heat the Big Green Egg (BGE) or other BBQ to 180°C, and make sure you grill indirectly (place a drip pan under the grill to avoid direct contact of the flames with the meat).
- Place the balls on the BBQ and smoke them until they reach a core temperature of about 70°C. Add apple or cherry wood for an extra smoky touch.
- Brush the meatballs with the BBQ sauce and continue cooking on the BBQ for another 5 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy!

- For juicier balls, consider lowering the temperature and increasing the cooking time accordingly.
- As an alternative to the BBQ, these Moink Balls can also be cooked in the oven at 180°C, but you will miss the smoky flavor of the wood.
