Ingredients
For the meatballs
- 500 g minced beef
- 250 g minced pork
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (crushed)
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 5 tbsp full-cream milk
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
For the sauce
- tbsp oil
- 40 g butter
- 40 g flower
- 150 ml vegetable broth
- 150 ml beef broth
- 150 ml cream
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Mix: Mix beef and pork mince with onion, garlic, breadcrumbs and egg. Add milk, salt and pepper.
- Forming: Roll small balls and let them rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Frying: Fry the balls in a pan until brown.
- Oven: Move to a baking dish and bake for another 30 minutes at 180°C.
- Sauce: Make a roux with butter and flour, add broths, cream, soy sauce and mustard. Let thicken.
- Serving: Serve with your favorite potato dish.
