- 1 casserole suitable for oven
- 1 vel aluminiumfolie
Ingredients
- 2 chickens (+- 1.2 kg)
- 2 tbsp chicken seasoning
- 1 lump butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to maxium 170°.
- Chop the chicken
- Season the chicken pieces along both sides.
- Briefly fry the fillets in the pan until crispy, just a few minutes per side. Set them aside.
- Fry the rest of the chicken also crispy in the pan. Turn off the heat in time and let the pan cool slightly.
- Put the pan with just the chicken legs in the oven, protect with alumium foil and do so for 75 minutes.
- After 50 minutes, remove the pan from the oven and add the chicken fillets for another 25 minutes.
- After a total oven time of 75 minutes, the chicken is ready.

Variations
- Cut one or more bell peppers into coarse pieces and put them in the pan along with it.
- Besides the classic chicken seasoning, there are countless variations of seasoning or marinade possible.
- To further infuse the flavor of the seasoning or marinade into the core of the chicken, you can apply the seasoning or marinade the day before.
- Ideal with rice or croquettes.
