Oven Baked Chicken
A classic recipe in which chicken pieces are first briefly fried in butter and chicken seasoning, then cooked further in the oven to perfection. Perfect for a cozy family dinner or a special occasion.

Preheat the oven to maxium 170°.
Chop the chicken
Season the chicken pieces along both sides.
Briefly fry the fillets in the pan until crispy, just a few minutes per side. Set them aside.
Fry the rest of the chicken also crispy in the pan. Turn off the heat in time and let the pan cool slightly.
Put the pan with just the chicken legs in the oven, protect with alumium foil and do so for 75 minutes.
After 50 minutes, remove the pan from the oven and add the chicken fillets for another 25 minutes.
After a total oven time of 75 minutes, the chicken is ready.

Variations
Cut one or more bell peppers into coarse pieces and put them in the pan along with it.
Besides the classic chicken seasoning, there are countless variations of seasoning or marinade possible.
To further infuse the flavor of the seasoning or marinade into the core of the chicken, you can apply the seasoning or marinade the day before.
Ideal with rice or croquettes.
