Witch roll with Bacon and Mushrooms

A delicious and easy recipe for turning leftover ham, cheese and mushrooms into tasty toast. Ideal – zero-waste – for a quick meal

Ingredients
 

  • 8 Slices bread
  • olive oil
  • 4 slices ham (or ham cut into pieces)
  • 250 g cheese (grated, what’s in the fridge)
  • 150 g mushrooms (sliced)
  • oregano (or another favorite herb)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Spread 8 Slices bread lightly with olive oil on one side and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Spread 4 slices ham evenly over the bread slices.
  • Add the 150 g mushrooms slices on top of the ham and sprinkle with the oregano.
  • Sprinkle with 250 g cheese grated.
  • Bake the toasts in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is nicely melted and golden brown.
  • Serve the witch sandwiches warm.
