Salad with Goat Cheese, Apple and Walnuts

Ingredients
 

  • 150 g corn salad
  • 1 apple (e.g. Jonagold or Pink Lady, in thin slices )
  • 120 g goat cheese (soft, sliced)
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp balsamic cream (to garnish)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the corn salad. Cut the apple into thin slices.
  • Divide the corn salad among the plates. Arrange the apple slices nicely around the lettuce.
  • Place the slices of goat cheese on the lettuce. Sprinkle the walnuts on top.
  • Drizzle honey over the goat cheese. Top with a few dashes of balsamic cream. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Serve immediately, that way the apple stays fresh and the cheese soft.
