Ingredients
- 4 Portions solid boiling potatoes (not too big)
- 6 tbsp (olive) oil (use your favorite oil)
Herb mixture
- 1 pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon marjolein
- 1 pinch nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 150°
- Gather all the ingredients
- Put the paprika – cayenne – sugar – marjoram in a jar and mix
- Rinse the potatoes well
- Dry off, no peeling required
- Cut the potatoes (vertically!) into 2 and then again into 2. This way you get 4 long yet narrow pieces of potato slices
- Make sure all potato sections have a similar thickness (i.e., cooking time).
- Place the potato slices in a mixing bowl
- Drizzle with your favorite (olive) oil
- Season with salt and pepper
- Add the mix of spices
- Mix the spices well into the potato sections
- Place the seasoned potato wedges in a baking dish
- Put the oven dish in the oven for 1 hour
