The tomatoes
- Cut the tomatoes into 4 and remove the pulp
- Dice the tomatoes
- Dice the ham and mix through the tomatoes
- Drizzle with olive oil
- Season with salt and pepper
The finishing
- Cut the baguette into slices
- You can rub the baguette with your favorite olive oil
- Top the baguette with the tomato mixture
- Put the baguette on the bbq for a while, try to cook the grill at the bottom of the bread. Beware the line between nice and crispy and burnt is razor thin….
- Top with a basil leaf (or versipper the basil and sprinkle)
