Greek salad with tzatziki

A fresh and colorful Greek salad

  • 1 goitre lettuce
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 red onions
  • 200 g olives ((always more convenient without a wick))
  • 200 g feta
  • 1 tbsp dill
  • 1 baguette or ciabatta
  • salt and pepper


  • Rinse the lettuce and swish dry with a towel or with the lettuce swisher.
  • Peel and cut the onion in half, Then thinly slice so that you get “half-moons”.
  • Cut tomatoes into 4 or 8 pieces (depending on size)
  • Cut the olives into 2 or more slices. If you prefer a whole olive – of course you can do that too.
  • Chop or crumble the feta. Personally, I find cube of a minimum 1/2 cm most palatable. Larger than 1 cm comes across as rather clunky.
