Crush the clove of garlic, cut the onion into 4 and add everything to the bowl of Monsieur Cuisine. Chop for 5 seconds on speed 5.
Scrape the pieces down the sides of the bowl.
Add the butter. Set to 100°C and speed 1, and fry the onion for 6 minutes.
Chop the cauliflower and potato. Add the cauliflower florets and diced potatoes to the bowl.
Pour in the vegetable broth.
Put the Monsieur Cuisine on boil, 100°C, for 20 minutes.
After boiling, blend the soup with the Monsieur Cuisine until smooth on speed 10 (*) for 1 minute. Repeat if necessary.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Optional
Add fried bacon or bacon strips as a garnish.
For an extra creamy soup, add a splash of cream while blending.
