Instructions
Pour the water and sugar into a saucepan.
Place the pan over medium-high heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
The mixture does not need to boil; it is enough to heat until all the sugar is dissolved.
Let the sugar water cool to room temperature before using it further.
After cooling, you can pour this into a bottle and store it.
Tips
Depending on the application, you can make this more/less sweet by adjusting the amount of sugar.
Sugar water can be enriched with aromatics such as vanilla sugar, orange zest, rose water, mint, ...
