Instructions
Clean the Brussels sprouts, halving or cutting into quarters if desired. Cook until tender in lightly salted water.
Peel the potatoes and cook until tender in lightly salted water for 20 minutes.
Fry the bacon bits until crispy.
Puree and finish with butter and milk.
Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Beware, bacon is salty!
Combine everything together and serve.

Variations
Add an onion and/or a clove of garlic when frying the bacon bits.
Sauté the Brussels sprouts briefly but vigorously for a crispy crust
