Preheat the oven to 150°
Gather all the ingredients
Put the bell pepper – cayenne – sugar – marjoram in a jar and mix
Rinse the potatoes well
Dry, no peeling required
Cut the potatoes (in height!) into 2 and then again into 2. This way you get 4 long yet narrow pieces of potato wedges
Make sure that all potato segments have an equal thickness (i.e. cooking time).
Place the potato wedges in a mixing bowl
Drizzle with your favorite (olive) oil
Season with salt and pepper
Add the mix of spices
Mix the herbs well in the potato wedges
Place the seasoned potato wedges in a casserole dish
Put the oven dish in the oven for 1 hour
